Support Our Troops

Do you Support Our Troops?

My husband served in the Army for 8 years and had multiple deployments and it always meant so much when he received a package from home.

Some of the soldiers don't have anyone to send them items they need and some families just can't afford to ship stuff as often as is needed.

My kids awesome school district is having Operation Caregiver. They are collecting donations and money (loose change too!) to send supplies to our troops that are still serving overseas.

We still have thousands of military members serving in hostile areas and if we can do something as little as sending them a care package to make their day I think we should give it all we can!

This is what it can look like when you are deployed to a war zone.

My husband's actual sleeping quarters after they stopped and set up base.

Want to take a guess? Burning the poo! Yep they didn't have toilets like we have. I was told to be so grateful when you go flush each time.

Can you do without your coffee or latte once? You could take that money to donate a tube of toothpaste or toothbrush.

Shipment of packages when my hubby was in Iraq.

They still have to maintain standards.

One of my recent coupon purchases. I was able to get all of these products under $2.00 and I am donating these to the kids' school to be shipped to our soldiers.

What can you do?

Please feel free to donate. You can ship it here, find an organization in your areas to donate to for the soldiers, take a small step that will mean so much to others!

If you are in Southern Arizona please feel free to contact me and I can meet you to get the donations or you can drop them off at the front office of any school in the Vail School District.
