Don't Judge Me - UPDATE

Last week I posted a really gross post about my carpets.
I used the Basic H2 Cleaner and the Get Clean Nature Bright in my shampooer and I went to work.

We a few days later I did our entire staircase which often gets neglected because it is so dang tough to do. Well, here it goes.

Before - see the spot? Look at the back part of the steps at the crease how dark.

After - SO much better!

Just spotty and dirty

After - I was really amazed once again!

I know it is just so gross! It makes me just cringe to think that all this dirt was on my floors!

We Screamed Like Little Girls!

Sunshine, Sand, Doesn't that sound like paradise?

Not when you see one of these nasty little HUGE spiders!

This thing was like the size of a silver dollar! I screamed like a little girl and told Cody he needed to come kill it!

Ugh! It was SO GROSS!!!!  He tried and tried and tried to kill it!

I was standing over him taking his picture (can't miss an opportunity for a funny blog now can we?) and he raised up and my hand brushed his hair and he screamed and I screamed and the dogs came running!

He asked me why he had to kill it and I told him because he was training to be a man! I know that is so bad of me but it is true and I didn't want to have to kill it!

In the end.... this critter didn't make it.  But his sibling did because 2 nights later we found ANOTHER ONE in our room! Brown.Recluse.Spiders! Are GROSS!!!

Cleaning the Fridge - Ugh!

Don't you LOVE cleaning out your refridgerator? I am laughing as I type this because I dislike this task with a firey passion (that is why Haley says because I do not like her to say she hates anything because we have always said that hate is too strong of a word!)

Well I tackled this along with my kiddos and I was so glad we did after I had switched over to Shaklee because as I cleaned out  my fridge with my Basic H2 cleaner I knew it was non-toxic, totally safe, so I didn't have to worry about putting my food and produce back into my fridge and having it contaminated with any harsh chemicals.

Have I mentioned how much I LOVE Basic H2 Organic Cleaner? LOL I know you are probably so tired of hearing me say it!

Here is my fridge - eewww it was not terrible but it really wasn't great at all!

Everything was just crammed in. And YES there are bottles of water in my fridge. And YES I am trying to go more green but from time to time we need bottled water. Especially my husband with where he works he has to take everything with him. But I do have my water bottle I refill through the day. (don't judge hehehe)

Crazy huh?

See that disgusting rust stain? I try to clean this every so often but I have had a big struggle on finding anything that works on this. I even tried those harsh lime, rust, removers that seriously are so hard on my to clean with because of my asthma specifically but the chemicals they contain are not good for anyone.

I thought oh super this is a great chance for me to use my Get Clean (R) Scour Off.

As my husband stood and watched me use this new product we had (he has been a bit skeptical the entire time) I thought I will try a little bit at first to see if I need more. I promise see that little teenie tiny amount? That is all I used.

Seriously check it out above, you can barely tell that I even used any of the Get Clean (R) Scour Off.

I took the rag and wiped it over the hard rust stain. I am 100% serious I didn't scrub I wiped. Even as my husband stood there he said seriously babe you need to make sure you emphasize that you didn't scrub any! He was astonished but I wasn't. I knew this product would work wonders! My best friend had raved about it and I knew she would never give me a bunch of rubbish. Seriously this stuff is wonderful!

CHECK IT OUT Shaklee is trying to make 50,000 homes healthier and safer during the month of April. It is Earth day this month! Just check it out - seriously it costs you nothing to just check it out! Feel free to Contact Me if you have any questions.

Tween Girls - Not for the Squeamish

Here is my Disclaimer:  If gross pictures eaks you out TURN BACK NOW! OK so it might not be that bad but normally things don't eak me out but this one does.

About a year ago Haley wanted to start shaving her legs. I know 4th grade is super early but it wasn't for vain reasons the girl doesn't take after her momma's blonde hair I will tell  ya that is for sure! She definitely takes after her daddy in the color of her hair area!

So for the last year I have shaved her legs for her ( I should get some sort of award!) but finally I caved in and bought her a little shaver of her own. I mean she is going into middle school this year. I told her BE CAREFUL - nicks hurt and I still get them. Well... she listened and then slipped.

Seriously I thought I got her a super cute little razor. Maybe I was thinking if it was tiny it couldn't give big cuts. I was SO Wrong!

WATCH OUT HERE IT COMES- It's THE GROSS PICTURE!

This is about 3 days old! I couldn't bare to hardly look at it when she first did it much less took a picture of it. The cut is about 2 1/2 to 3 inches long!

The trials of being a mom to a tween! I tell ya one day at a time! I sure am hoping that this never happens again!

Switching Teams

I have been working hard to cook healthier and easier. I bought a Foster Farms Whole Chicken because it was a great price and I thought I could cook it in the crock pot, which you can.

I had NO idea that the stuff you pull out of the middle of the chicken isn't it a cute little neat bag like it's Turkey counterpart!  I thought I might have to be a vegetarian after this experience.

Venture with me through my journey!

So nice and neat

Umm this is ok but still not my favorite but I did get the gloves out

I am not sure what I just pulled out and I was hoping I was done but nope lots more to go!

My FAVORITE friend! I used this so many times

More! I tried to get Haley to do it - told her it would be fun - hope she took pics.
Don't ask because I don't know what that is

Normally I have a fairly strong stomach but I really thought I wasn't going to get through this. Maybe because I haven't been feeling so well who knows but it was gross!

In to the crock pot finally!

Add some simple seasoning

Cooked overnight and Cody tried this morning and love it!

I told Cody that since he loves it if he wants me to ever cook it again he was have to de-gut? de-remove the really gross stuff inside? I mean come on people I am not a crappy mother the boy goes hunting with his dad and they enjoy that kind of stuff.... I hope.

Lesson Learned: Turkey - nice and neat little bag goes into the trash. Chicken - NOT SO MUCH!
